Lower Silesia

Lower Silesia, Dolny Śląsk, is one of 16 voivodeships in Poland, located in southwestern Poland, bordering the Czech Republic and Germany. Wrocław, the third biggest city in the country, is its capital. Beautiful towns full of history, interesting culture and folklore, many castles to explore, delicious cuisine to taste, and many spas to relax in… Also, if you’re an outdoor fan, you’ll be charmed by Sudetes mountains offering stunning views, many hiking trails, and popular ski resorts. For sure everyone will find something for himself in magical Lower Silesia.

Best time to visit

Lower Silesia has a Continental climate with warm/hot summers with temperatures around 25°C, and cold winters with temperatures around 0-5°C, sometimes going below 0°C. Depending on the part of the voivodeship there can be more or less snow. Lower Silesia can be visited at any part of the year, depending on personal preferences. Personally, we think Spring and Autumn are the best.
