Costa del Sol, Coast of the Sun, is a sunny paradise located in the south of Spain, in Andalusia. It stretches from the municipality of La Linea de la Concepcion in the west to Nerja in the east, spanning around 150 kilometers of coastline. In the past, it was made up mostly of a series of small fishing villages, and today it’s one of the world-renowned tourist destinations thanks to its warm Mediterranean climate, pristine beaches, lovely coastal towns, and delicious cuisine.
Costa del Sol has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If really high temperatures, around 30°C, and crowds don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 15-20°C, choose any month in the lower season. Personally, we think Spring and Autumn are the best.
