What To Do In Tarifa, Spain? Complete Travel Guide

Costa de la Luz

Costa de la Luz, Coast of Light, is a sunny Andalusian coastline facing the Atlantic Ocean. It stretches for more than 200 km from Tarifa in the south along the coasts of the Province of Cadiz and the Province of Huelva, to the mouth of the Guadiana River. Nowadays, thanks to its amazing gold sand beaches, strong winds and high waves perfect for watersports lovers, and charming pueblos blancos, it’s a perfect destination for all kinds of travelers.

Best time to visit

Costa de la Luz has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If really high temperatures, around 30°C, and crowds don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 15-20°C, choose any month in the lower season. Personally, we think Spring and Autumn are the best.
