Roquetas de Mar Beaches - Playa la Romanilla

Costa de Almeria

Costa de Almeria is a very sunny Andalusian coastline. It stretches for over 200km from Pulpi on the border with the Region of Murcia, to Adra which borders the Province of Granada. Nowadays, thanks to many amazing beaches, crystal clear Mediterranean Sea waters, little rain, and over 300 days of sun during a year, it’s a perfect holiday destination in Spain. There you’ll also find amazing towns and natural sites to discover like Almeria, Tabernas Desert, Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, or Mojácar.

Best time to visit

Costa de Almeria has a hot semi-arid climate with hot dry summers and mild winters, with almost no rain during the whole year. If really high temperatures, above 30°C and crowds on the beaches don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 20°C, choose any month in the lower season.
