Practice watersports in Mar Menor Lagoon

Costa Calida

Costa Calida is a very sunny region in Spain that stretches for 250km from El Mojón in the north near the Province of Alicante to Águilas in the south bordering the Province of Almeria. Nowadays, thanks to many amazing sandy beaches, crystal clear Mediterranean Sea waters, little rain, and over 300 days of sun during a year, it’s a perfect holiday destination in Spain. There you’ll also find amazing towns and natural sites to discover like Cartagena, Murcia, Lorca, Bateria De Castillitos, or La Manga del Mar Menor.

Best time to visit

Costa Calida has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. If really high temperatures, above 30°C and crowds on the beaches don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 20°C, choose any month in the lower season.
