Province of Alicante

Province of Alicante is a beautiful and diverse region located in eastern Spain, on Costa Blanca. It’s one of three provinces in the Valencian Community with Alicante as its capital. It’s the fourth most populated province in Spain and has the largest number of foreigners among all Spanish provinces. Besides the capital, its main cities are Benidorm, Calpe, Elche, Torrevieja, Villajoyosa, Alcoy, or Orihuela. The Province of Alicante is home to many stunning beaches, mountain trails, natural parks, charming whitewashed towns, and great views at every step – everyone will find something perfect for themselves there.

Best time to visit

Province of Alicante has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If really high temperatures, around 30°C, and crowds don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 15-20°C, choose any month in the lower season. Personally, we think Spring and Autumn are the best.
