10+ Things To Do In Calpe, Spain
Enormous rock in the sea, salinas where the salt apparently was made, Queen’s bathroom and pink flamingos. Seemingly unrelated but together it works!
Valencian Community is one of 17 autonomous communities in Spain, the fourth-most populous one, located along the Mediterranean Coast on the east side of the Iberian Peninsula. Its territory is divided into 3 provinces: Valencia, Alicante, and Castellon. Its capital city is Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, and its official languages are Spanish and Valencian. Valencian Community is a beautiful and diverse region full of stunning beaches, high mountains with amazing trails, countless stunning views, charming historic towns, and delicious cuisine. Pack your suitcase and wait no more to discover it.
Valencian Community has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If really high temperatures, around 30°C, and crowds don’t bother you – visit during the high season from June to August. If you prefer quieter times and lower temperatures, around 15-20°C, choose any month in the lower season. Personally, we think Spring and Autumn are the best.
