Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur, casually known as PACA or Region Sud, is one of the 13 administrative regions of mainland France. It’s located in the southeastern part of the country and is bordered by Italy to the east, the Mediterranean Sea and Monaco to the South, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region to the north, and Occitanie to the west. Its territory is divided into 6 departments: Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Hautes-Alpes, Var, and Vaucluse.
