Our opinion about Saint Saturnin les Apt
For us, a visit to Saint Saturnin les Apt was a day trip from nearby Orgon, where we lived for a few weeks. We combined it with a visit to the nearby Sault and Apt. We visited the village in early June, and during that time it was very peaceful with only a handful of other visitors around – we came across no more than ten! It really felt like we had Saint Saturnin to ourselves. Exploring everything we wanted took us about 2 hours.
What we loved most was the climb to the castle and the unforgettable views from the top – just wow! The short uphill walk is absolutely worth the effort. Wandering through beautiful Saint Saturnin streets was also a pure pleasure. We really enjoyed the village and instantly fell in love with its unspoiled, authentic, and incredibly calm atmosphere.
In our opinion, it’s one of Luberon’s standout destinations and a village we would happily recommend adding to your Provence itinerary.
